STAIR ELEVATOR

STAIR ELEVATOR
The growth strategy of Home Elevator is to increase market share through
various methods. Firstly, through selected acquisitions of key
distributors for stair elevator and lift products; (2) by
strategically aligning itself with proven dealer/distribution networks
and sales and marketing partnership with large retail chains. Growth
will also be inform of being highly selective in adding complimentary
stair elevator products to its already comprehensive product offering.
There are also plans to expand in the western U.S. and Canada.
Plans are to set up and establish assembly facilities in the
United Kingdom, to serve the European stair elevator and platform lift
market; and Argentina, to cater to the South American market.

Important points to consider when installing a stair elevator:

* Rail mounts to stair treads, not to wall. Stairs must be in sound
condition.
* If your stairs are narrow (less than 37") than the
track distance from the wall will be a key issue. This factor is also
dependent on the height of the user and their leg length.
* If you have difficulty transferring to the seat of the stair elevator then seat
height will be a key issue.
* Seat height at bottom of the stairs is an important point if client is not tall.
* If you have lower back pain and a soft start and stop are important then a
DC powered stair lift unit maybe more appropriate.
* If user is tall then seat depth of the stair elevator is important.
* Stairway must have adequate lighting at top and bottom of stairs.
* Confirm local government requirements for electrical plug.
* Stair lift track must be allowed to come all the way to the top landing and bottom landing for safe transfer to the seat of the stair elevator.
